Jesus said of Himself, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; he has appointed me to preach Good News to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted and to announce that captives shall be released and the blind shall see, that the downtrodden shall be freed form their oppressors, and that God is ready to give blessings to all who come to him." At Crossroads, we are called to the same. So many people have been hurt or discouraged in their lives. Many have lost faith in God, the church, or even their own family. God wants us to look to Him and receive healing so our hearts can be mended and our hope restored.

In each person, there is what many have called a "God-shaped" vacuum. We try to fill that hole in our lives with all types of things. Some people try alcohol, drugs, sex, money, religion or even relationships. Yet, at the end of the day, they still feel empty inside. Only Jesus can fill that void in our lives and give us meaning, purpose, and direction.

God has invented a way for people to be strengthened, encouraged, challenged and loved, and He calls it the church. Within the church, a person learns how to live out his new found faith, and to discover that God has given him gifts and abilities to be used to bless other people. Within our L.I.F.E. Groups , he will also find a network of believers that will stand with him through thick and thin.

Jesus has called us to impact the world around us with His undeniable love and compassion. We look for opportunities to touch our city in practical ways that demonstrate the love of God. At Crossroads, we endeavor to equip people with the tools they need to make a real difference in their world.
